In a remarkable display of global collaboration, representatives from twenty nations gathered in the Capital for the 'India Summit on Education Knowledge Exchange,' organized by the World Bank. The focus of the summit was to share insights and learnings, with particular attention given to India's success story - Skill India Digital.

The event witnessed a keen interest from delegates as they delved into the inception, operationalization, and lessons derived from Skill India Digital. This unified digital platform, launched by the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) on September 13, 2023, has become a cornerstone in synergizing India's skill development, education, employment, and entrepreneurship landscape.

During the event, Atul Kumar Tiwari, Secretary, MSDE, and Mr. Ved Mani Tiwari, CEO, NSDC and MD, NSDC International, highlighted India's successful skill ecosystem. The participating countries expressed their intent to adopt India's best practices, aiming to bolster their own economies through skill development initiatives.

Mr. Atul Kumar Tiwari emphasized, “Skill India Digital has been a catalyst for convergence, bringing together training programs from various government ministries and departments. The platform, with 40 lakh registrations in the last six months, offers over 550 courses accessible on mobile devices. This growth mirrors the success of Digital India."

Mr. Ved Mani Tiwari conducted a session on 'Setting the Narrative on the Skill India Digital,' outlining the platform's efficiency in propelling India’s economy. He stated, “Capability and knowledge are the key pillars of success, and Skill India Digital plays a pivotal role. The platform's success has garnered interest from 20 countries in Asia and Africa."
